Life has been busy with a move and the kids. I am going to try to get back into it as a form of recreation and spend some time in my wonderful craft room.<br />
<br />
I saw on Facebook that Peachy Keen stamps is ceasing manufacturing. I adore their face stamps. They may be my favorite crafting item, EVER. I bought what I could and I am going to get back into my crafting as much as possible. So bye bye Peachy Keen Stamps. I sure will miss you. :(Cricutting Wendyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17699949986939517584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722568318463979506.post-33604453395049031672011-01-27T04:41:00.005-06:002011-01-27T04:54:15.602-06:00Flaunt it Friday, Craft Your Days Away, and Creative Craft World challenges<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisWSdlWUOdQtYacFRcYGCKhkJDfOSzK11JRHXaeb6umQ4VlrP2yJrsqU7CYs7iHXlElWDwpR-9rQV4-GJEPp6Hu2p-IOyfgoDvCa1MYu0tpiQ9fxpfHVBGKC2uwdQIYa1PQRaY3qqj25zq/s1600/100_1571.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 247px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisWSdlWUOdQtYacFRcYGCKhkJDfOSzK11JRHXaeb6umQ4VlrP2yJrsqU7CYs7iHXlElWDwpR-9rQV4-GJEPp6Hu2p-IOyfgoDvCa1MYu0tpiQ9fxpfHVBGKC2uwdQIYa1PQRaY3qqj25zq/s320/100_1571.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566814987133154402" /></a>This card is for this weeks Flaunt it Friday challenge. This is the card when it is open. I love how it turned out but I am sure glad it is done. Stamping those sweet Peachy faces on that glitter paper was kind of hard too. I found a video on youtube from split coast stampers on how to make an easel card. Here is the Peachy Keen sketch.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5NaX_SCT0gj23Kp19tOmEyGpmnai8WfJSdpwqqJgAzkr0cAeh_PW2WNgutKrJXJdHCcx5X3dT6Mw0h45ctbiNPFqPTL7Hz_xf4iIQxfeImz4UWunej9A_bqrsWRsztWQiY6TGhJHw9Qk/s1600/pksketch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5NaX_SCT0gj23Kp19tOmEyGpmnai8WfJSdpwqqJgAzkr0cAeh_PW2WNgutKrJXJdHCcx5X3dT6Mw0h45ctbiNPFqPTL7Hz_xf4iIQxfeImz4UWunej9A_bqrsWRsztWQiY6TGhJHw9Qk/s1600/pksketch.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
This card was also designed for The Paper Variety My Pink Stamper challenge. It was made using ONLY pink, black and white. That was a bit of a trick bu I am pretty happy with the outcome.<br />
<br />
Here is a pic of the card when it is closed.<br />

I decided to do a layout instead of a card. I have started making more cards but I am still a scrapbooker at heart. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXPCPzGcs7rPLOM5bLr8Ry5C3YK-_el8gwM_QLDSwh9EL8EEx38M9CdewK3qIXnL7xnKV6-nqUHSqwB3pk_eNugB9OA2nolA4UvGGtOUvfz20yolkb2f-RSjyDP62DTeCTO7z2QmKGkBw/s1600/100_1494.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXPCPzGcs7rPLOM5bLr8Ry5C3YK-_el8gwM_QLDSwh9EL8EEx38M9CdewK3qIXnL7xnKV6-nqUHSqwB3pk_eNugB9OA2nolA4UvGGtOUvfz20yolkb2f-RSjyDP62DTeCTO7z2QmKGkBw/s320/100_1494.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The flap at the bottom right raises up for a place to do some journaling. The Throwback Thursday challenge at My Creative Time was to use any older Cricut cartridge and the project had to have hearts on it. The Cooking with Cricut challenge this week is Glittermania! I used red glitter paper for the love bugs backs and the hearts scattered over the page.<br />
<br />
The recipe for this layout is:<br />
cardstock and glitter paper from Hobby Lobby<br />
Cuttlebug and D'vine embossing folder<br />
The cricut cuts are from the Walk in My Garden cartridge altered in the gypsy<br />
The frames are from the Storybook cartridge altered in the gypsy<br />
The letters are from Gypsy wanderings welded in the gypsy<br />
Fiskars border punch and and i-top brad<br />
ATG gun and gluestickCricutting Wendyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17699949986939517584noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722568318463979506.post-36627066233870042592011-01-12T09:31:00.000-06:002011-01-12T09:31:47.411-06:00Let's Face it Friday- Peachy Keen challengeThis is my first project for a Peachy Keen challenge! <br />
This layout is my project for this weeks Flaunt it Friday challenge. I don't own the Hello Kitty cartridge but I made this plane from Tags, Bags and Boxes on my gypsy. I made the Kitty from Create a Critter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-YFaQpxyGJ9Nal0rXiaTy0SMrkO4A81htSkgrw1aDCq24DobbuRzpP_iclr92LVJKHTsQmOCuc0Jthemw5YNyesyOiQ977Kdeqh_chbH1aKKFTmKHKha0nQUSCcZA85DGVzDZhRxqJs8/s1600/100_1424.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-YFaQpxyGJ9Nal0rXiaTy0SMrkO4A81htSkgrw1aDCq24DobbuRzpP_iclr92LVJKHTsQmOCuc0Jthemw5YNyesyOiQ977Kdeqh_chbH1aKKFTmKHKha0nQUSCcZA85DGVzDZhRxqJs8/s320/100_1424.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
I used a snow writer on the letters and some coarse glitter to make them puffy and to bling it up a bit.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4KYerB544g_dYEX2EWojyKWp_curD0ue6D6-9YRYUI0JzNbbtWqT2V1bHWn_A0G2z8KCqC-VvTJ3IJIN9VvQrYm55UuO1hoH5R-oeNz7rsuMPSfMZjQflc1pj2pepzCaehbg-7Sq65Vs/s1600/100_1431.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4KYerB544g_dYEX2EWojyKWp_curD0ue6D6-9YRYUI0JzNbbtWqT2V1bHWn_A0G2z8KCqC-VvTJ3IJIN9VvQrYm55UuO1hoH5R-oeNz7rsuMPSfMZjQflc1pj2pepzCaehbg-7Sq65Vs/s320/100_1431.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Flaunt it Fridays are fast becoming my favorite challenges. It's fun to push yourself to do something outside the box.<br />
<br />
I am feeling kinda good about being able to make this plane on the gypsy. I just got it for Christmas. I can't believe this plane came from shapes in the Tags, Bags and Boxes cart.<br />
<br />
The recipe for this layout:<br />
Paper from Hobby Lobby and Target<br />
Tags, Bags and Boxes and Create a critter Cartridges (altered in the gypsy)<br />
Storybook cartridge for the corners.<br />
Fiskars border punch<br />
Cuttlebug and D'vine embossing folder for the clouds<br />
snow writer<br />
glitter ATG gun<br />
glue stick--(don't laugh!!) : )<br />
Sakura pens -for eyes and nose<br />

I have just LOVED those stamps since I saw them. I stayed up all night playing with them and this is what I made.<br />
<br />
This is a card and for now my inside is blank as I haven't decided who I am giving it to yet. I debated on whether to give it away since I love it so much but this stuff is more fun when you share.<br />
I am going to start putting the recipes for my projects on my post, so here goes.<br />
<br />
For this card:<br />
The pattern paper came from hobby lobby<br />
cardstock from Michaels<br />
cricut cuts from create a critter<br />
cuttlebug for embossing d'vine and swiss dots folders<br />
Peachy Keen stamps for faces-everyday characters and laffy taffy faces<br />
fiskars border punch<br />
Sakura gelly rolls pens<br />
Stickles for bling on the flower<br />
The sentiment is mine- done on the printer<br />
<br />
I love those stamps. They are just inspiring. I told my friends I will be putting faces on everything for the next six months. LOL!Cricutting Wendyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17699949986939517584noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722568318463979506.post-68932028525457252532010-12-15T14:31:00.000-06:002010-12-15T14:31:10.879-06:00ADVENT CALENDAR PROJECT<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-dTgEKyde5Jp2Itl2wX7QoPHyXP2BVqKIOfz1V8nlb5R7l_Dl4KZ5O1zylct2_2tMaz7D8Ma1jeOiFTUJRG994Kd6wT6VwrNDUgKQnrHhx9yisUsLX6CEYTz3fXVSZmw57bae_XUj37A/s1600/advent+tree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="304" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-dTgEKyde5Jp2Itl2wX7QoPHyXP2BVqKIOfz1V8nlb5R7l_Dl4KZ5O1zylct2_2tMaz7D8Ma1jeOiFTUJRG994Kd6wT6VwrNDUgKQnrHhx9yisUsLX6CEYTz3fXVSZmw57bae_XUj37A/s320/advent+tree.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I'm posting this picture to remind myself how to make this. I saw it today and though it is too late for me to make it now, I will be making one next year. It is made from large match boxes but there is a match box on tags bags and boxes that could be used to make this. This is more of a note to self than anything but if you find it useful thats's great too.Cricutting Wendyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17699949986939517584noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8722568318463979506.post-58280945183052461342010-12-01T19:23:00.000-06:002010-12-01T19:23:34.872-06:00Pink ATG giveaway!!Obsessed with Scrapbooking is giving away 2 Pink ATG guns!!!
