Card for Peachy Keen Tuesday challenge and for The Paper Variety MPS challenge

This  card was  designed using a sketch for the Peachy Keen Tuesday Challenge.
This is an easel card, my first one. This is the card when it is open.   I love how it turned out but I am sure glad it is done.  Stamping those sweet Peachy faces on that glitter paper was kind of hard too.  I found a video on youtube from split coast stampers on how to make an easel card.  Here is the Peachy Keen sketch.

This card was also designed for The Paper Variety My Pink Stamper challenge.  It was made using ONLY pink, black and white.  That was a bit of a trick bu I am pretty happy with the outcome.

Here is a pic of the card when it is closed.

The recipe for this card is:

cardstock from Michaels
glitter paper and patterned paper from Hobby Lobby
Fiskars border punch
Peachy keen stamps Critter faces and every day face assortment
Sakura gelly roll pen-white
Racoon from Create a critter
Hearts and heart border from doodle charms altered in the gypsy
letters from doodletype welded in the gypsy
Cuttlebug and swiss dots folder

I hope you like it too!!

Throwback Thursday and Cooking with Cricut project

I'm really getting into these challenges.  I decided to do a layout instead of a card.  I have started making more cards but I am still  a scrapbooker at heart.

The flap at the bottom right raises up for a place to do some journaling.  The Throwback Thursday challenge at My Creative Time was to use any older Cricut cartridge and the project had to have hearts on it.  The Cooking with Cricut challenge this week is Glittermania!  I used red glitter paper for the love bugs backs and the hearts scattered over the page.

The recipe for this layout is:
cardstock and glitter paper  from Hobby Lobby
Cuttlebug and D'vine embossing folder
The cricut cuts are from the Walk in My Garden cartridge altered in the gypsy
The frames are from the Storybook cartridge altered in the gypsy
The letters are from Gypsy wanderings welded in the gypsy
Fiskars border punch and and i-top brad
ATG gun and gluestick

Let's Face it Friday- Peachy Keen challenge

This is my first project for a Peachy Keen challenge!  I'm so excited!  I got my first Peachy Keens during Christmas and now I can play along.

So, here's the recipe for this card.

Printed paper from the Paper Studio
cardstock from Michael's
card was cut with paper trimmer
Fiskars border punch
Cuttlebug and D'vine embossing folder
Sakura gel pen
Cricut cuts from the Create a Critter cartridge
Chalk for the cheeks
Peachy keen face stamp from the critter faces set

I kind of made a mistake and got some white ink by the mouth but I choose to think it looks like that little cherry has been dipping in the frosting!!

Flaunt it Friday- Hello Kitty- Made from Tags, Bags, Boxes and Create a Critter Cartridges

This layout is my project for this weeks Flaunt it Friday challenge.  I don't own the Hello Kitty cartridge but I made this plane from Tags, Bags and Boxes on my gypsy.  I made the Kitty from Create a Critter.

I used a snow writer on the letters and some coarse glitter to make them puffy and to bling it up a bit.

Flaunt it Fridays are fast becoming my favorite challenges.  It's fun to push yourself to do something outside the box.

I am feeling kinda good about being able to make this plane on the gypsy.  I just got it for Christmas.  I can't believe this plane came from shapes in the Tags, Bags and Boxes cart.

The recipe for this layout:
Paper from Hobby Lobby and Target
Tags, Bags and Boxes and Create a critter Cartridges (altered in the gypsy)
Storybook cartridge for the corners.
Fiskars border punch
Cuttlebug and D'vine embossing folder for the clouds
snow writer
glitter ATG gun
glue stick--(don't laugh!!)  : )
Sakura pens -for eyes and nose

Thanks for visiting!!

Scrapbookaholic Abby's Wedding/Anniversary Challenge

I've been itching for a project and I saw this challenge posted.  It only had one day left but immediately the details I would use came to mind.  I like a deadline.  I do my best work under pressure.

It's a pretty simple layout but I really like it.  I love the photo mat and the card on the bottom opens up and I am going to journal inside it.  It may be hard to tell but the colors are lavender, dark purple and a light blue/ lavender color.

I just LOVE my gypsy.  It makes using the cricut easy peasy.

The recipe for this one page layout is:

Cardstock from Michaels
ATG gun, glue stick, and foam dots for adhesives
i-top brad maker
fiskars border punch
purple ribbon from my scrapbox
cuttlebug D'vine embossing folder
Stickles for bling
tiny heart charm from some embellishments I have had for a while
Cricut cuts:  cake- Paper Doll Dress Up (altered), letters from Storybook cartridge and welded in the gypsy, rings from Potpourri cartridge
And one big honking sticky rhinestone for the jewel in the ring

Happy New Year, everyone!!  I think I am going to be addicted to Flaunt it Fridays!  This is my second one and I am LOVING it!  This week we were supposed to use the martini glass cricut cut from the " From My Kitchen" cartridge but since I don't have that cartridge, I used the champagne glasses from the Potpourri cartridge.  I welded the card and the letters on the Gypsy.  I am starting to really like this gypsy!!

Sakura gel pens
